Evanescence have announced that their fourth studio album, Synthesis, is due out this fall.

Not to mention, the band will be headed out on the “Synthesis Live” tour in support of their new record. Fan and VIP pre-sales are on sale now, and general on-sale beginning Friday, August 18.

Every ticket sold will come with a download of the new album, which they’ll receive when it’s released later this fall.

As an added bonus, concert-goers will also receive songs from the album prior to the record’s release date, beginning with a reworking of the band’s hit, “Bring Me To Life“.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Beck revealed the title of his new album, the follow-up to 2014’s Morning Phase. The record is called Colors and will see the light of day sometime in October.

Dave Grohls just like us! The famed Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer apparently attended a recent Metallica concert, and the Them Crooked Vultures sideman was spotted by fans getting his thrash-metal groove on in the moshpit area.

As reported by the NME, Grohl was seen among the crowd on the concert floor at the Metallica show (seemingly forgoing any VIP treatment) and some selfie-taking concertgoers fired off a few snaps of the Foo Fighter enjoying the gig.

Grizzly Bear have released the video for “Mourning Sound,” from their upcoming album Painted Ruins. The video is directed by Beatrice Pegard. Painted Ruins is out Friday. Watch the video below:

We are inching ever closer to a world in which Kid Rock is a viable Senatorial candidate. Politico reports a super PAC formed during the 2016 election with backing from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, has issued a statement basically egging Kid Rock on. “We’d be actually very interested in his candidacy,” Steven Law, the group’s president, said on C-SPAN last Friday. According to a poll conducted last month by RealClearPolitics, Kid Rock trailed Democratic incumbent Debbie Stabenow by eight points. Which is “not a bad place to start,” Law says.

Fiona Apple has recorded a supportive video message to Sinead O’Connor on her YouTube page. Apple’s clip comes in response to a video O’Connor posted to her Facebook account last Thursday, in which the singer-songwriter explained that she was living in a Travelodge motel in New Jersey and dealing with mental health issues and suicidal thoughts, while communicating with no one except a psychiatrist.
