Mark Hollis, lead singer and songwriter of influential British new-wave-turned-art-rock band Talk Talk, has died at the age of 64. Born in London in 1955, Mark Hollis began his career in the music industry in the late 1970s, releasing one single with his band The Reaction before forming Talk Talk with bassist Paul Webb, drummer Lee Harris, and keyboardist Simon Brenner in 1981. Korn and Alice in Chains have announced a lengthy North American tour for summer 2019. The dates kick off in July in Del Valle, Texas, before heading to the Northeast, Midwest, and eventually to the West Coast in early September. Dave Matthews Band violinist Boyd Tinsley has been sued for sexual harassment by James Frost-Winn, a former member of Tinsley’s side project band Crystal Garden. Frost-Winn, a Seattle-based trumpet player, accuses Tinsley of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and long-term grooming stemming from their meeting in San Francisco in 2007 when he was an 18-year-old homeless man. Frost-Winn is seeking $9 million in damages against Tinsley stemming from claims that he created a “hostile work environment” by allegedly making unwanted advancements towards Frost-Winn and sending explicit texts.   Last month, for Record Store Day, the National released an exclusive vinyl edition of Boxer (Live in Brussels), an album of live performances from their 2007 album Boxer. As promised, Foo Fighters’ rock-focused Cal Jam festival has returned for 2018. The Foos curated the festival and will once again headline, alongside Iggy Pop,  Deer Tick, Tenacious D, Garbage, Manchester Orchestra, and more. The Cal Jam festival will take place October 6 in San Bernardino, with additional performances from new wave icon Billy Idol, comedian Bridget Everett, and exactly-what-it-sounds-like Morrissey cover band from Mexico Mexrrissey on October 5.             Smashing Pumpkins are going on tour this summer. MTV has revealed some of its featured performers for this year are Lorde, Ed Sheeran, and Thirty Seconds to Mars. The network said in a press release that it will reveal more performers within the next couple of weeks. The VMAs will air August 27. A 44-year-old man was arrested for allegedly urinating on a 10-year-old girl and her parents at a Metallica show Friday night in Glendale, Arizona, Buzzfeed News reports. Daniel Francis Daddio allegedly began urinating on the family, who were seated in front of him. The father told Arizona state troopers that “all three of his family members felt warm liquid washing over their backs and legs,” according to court documents obtained by Buzzfeed. SWMRS Joined On Stage by ‘Stranger Things’ Star Finn Wolfhard

                  In case you missed it, SWMRS was joined on stage by Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard last night at Central Park Summer Stage in New York City.
