Beach House have announced a string of North American tour dates, scheduled for late spring and early summer. The Baltimore duo’s itinerary includes several previously announced festival appearances, including sets at Bonnaroo, Bellweather, and the nostalgic-as-hell Just Like Heaven festival, as well as two-night stopovers in Brooklyn and Seattle. They’ll also be overseas for appearances at Tomavista in Madrid and All Points East in London. The band is scheduled for a run of four Australian shows beginning tomorrow. Foo Fighters have announced the supporting acts for select dates on their current tour around North America. The tour is in support of their 2017 album Concrete and Gold and will include opening act performances from Dinosaur Jr., Speedy Ortiz, The Joy Formidable, Gang of Youths, The Struts, and more. Tickets for the tour can still be found here.               Blink-182 postponed two Las Vegas shows this past weekend due to Travis Barker’s recovery from blood clots in his arms that have prevented him from drumming. The band is in the middle of a residency at the Palms Hotel and Casino, which began last month. The Vegas residency is scheduled to run on select weekends through November 17. The sister-trio Haim are set to perform both weekends of Coachella in a few weeks, and they’ll be accompanied by visuals from director Paul Thomas Anderson. Anderson, a former student of the group’s mother, previously directed videos for the promotional run of the band’s sophomore album Something To Tell You, including videos for “Little of Your Love” and “Right Now.” He was also the director of their live performance video “Night So Long” and their short video “Valentine.”   Tool are recording music for a new album that has been a long time in the making. The xx’s Night + Day music festival, which was to take place in southern Iceland on July 14-16, has been reportedly cancelled. The Reykjavík Grapevine has published a statement from the festival this week clarifying that the site in Skógafoss where the concert was to take place has been listed as an endangered area by the country’s environmental agency. And as other music festival lineups go, Pennsylvania's Karoondinha Festival had quite a good one: ODESZA, Paramore and PVRIS, among others were slated to headline. But it was not to be: This week, festival organizers decided to pull the plug on Karoondinha in its inaugural year. The festival was to take place near Penn State University from July 21-23.
